STAR TO ASIA Shanghai CO.,LTD (Branch: 2119, Floor 21, SOHO Donghai Plaza, No.299, Tongren Road, Jing'an District, Shanghai, China, Chairman: Teppei Fujiwara), a Chinese subsidiary of STAR TO ASIA CO.,LTD (Headquarter: Songshan Dist., Taipei City, Taiwan (R.O.C.), Chairman: Teppei Fujiwara), today announced that Sherry Tsai has been appointed as President on July 1, 2021.

◆Information of new President

Name: Sherry Tsai

＜Brief history＞
She joined STAR TO ASIA CO.,LTD in August 2016 as a new graduate from the Department of Japanese Language, National Taiwan University. Six months later, she raised her hand to join the new project in China as a start-up member and was stationed in Shanghai in July next year, which was unusual as a new graduate. She established STAR TO ASIA Shanghai CO.,LTD in September and engaged in support for Japanese mail-order companies expanding into China and sales activities to EC malls. In January 2020, she assumed office as Vice-president and led the Chinese business by earning the highest 5-star rank as the third official partner of the cross-border EC mall "Tmall Global", which had the largest market share in China. She became the first female president of our group in July 2021, her fifth year in the company.

 
◆Message from new President

I'm grateful that I could take such an opportunity though it has only been five years since I joined the STAR TO ASIA Group.
For me, STAR TO ASIA is a kind of mysterious place and the FindStar Group is even more mysterious. Whenever I work here, I always think, "What's the purpose of doing this?" or concretely, "Is this service creating any new value?" I repeatedly ask it myself and the team. It's not only business but also my personal challenge.

Many companies are thinking about how to succeed in the existing market. However, we're creating a new market and a model to expand that market. I'm very lucky to be able to work with talented members with a similar sense of value, and at the same time, I'm largely inspired and encouraged by being in such a group. We'll continue to do our utmost to accelerate the speed of growth.
